360 Spatial Sound Mapping and Digital Cinema Auto Calibration IX features highlight the precision immersive sound and multiple phantom speakers which can be produced, alongside Dolby Atmos® and DTS:X® compatibility.
Images of the rear of the product show the wide range of connectivity options, including the 6-in/2-out HDMI ports with support for up to 8K or 4K120 and IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, HLG and HDR 10 video sources.
High quality audio formats are also supported, including 360 Reality Audio, Hi-Res, Hi-Res Wireless and DSD. The AN1000 is shown connected to a compatible BRAVIA TV, with the Acoustic Centre Sync2 3 feature repositioning the audio source across both the TV and center speaker for perfect alignment with on-screen images.
Finally, a range of wireless features are presented, including support for optional Sony wireless rear speakers and subwoofers, and compatibility with wireless audio streaming using Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi for Apple AirPlay 2, Works with SONOS, Roon Tested, Spotify Connect, and Chromecast built-in. Voice and app control is supported via the Google Assistant and Sony Music Center.
