Pure Loop 2 is the impressively high-performing and silent All-in-One water cooling unit with subtle ARGB lighting for users with overclocked systems.
These coolers feature a unique pump design, ARGB lighting, and refillable coolant for a long lifespan. They are available in three sizes: 240 mm, 280 mm, and 360 mm.
The Pure Loop 2 FX coolers are the upgraded versions of the original Pure Loop series, which were launched in 2020. The main difference is the addition of ARGB lighting on the fans and the CPU block, which can be controlled via a compatible motherboard or an included controller. The fans are Be Quiet’s own Light Wings, which offer high airflow and low noise levels. The CPU block has an aluminium cover with a ring of LEDs that create a subtle glow.
The Pure Loop 2 FX coolers also have some features that set them apart from other AIOs on the market. One of them is the decoupled pump, which is located on the tubing near the radiator instead of in the CPU block. This reduces the vibration and noise that can be transmitted to the motherboard and the case. The pump also has a second-generation design that Be Quiet claims to improve the performance and reliability.
Another feature is the refill port and the extra coolant that are included with the coolers. Be Quiet says that this allows users to extend the lifespan of their AIOs by replenishing the liquid level every two years. This can also prevent issues such as air bubbles, corrosion, or leakage that can affect some AIOs over time.
The Pure Loop 2 FX coolers are compatible with most modern Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA 1700 and AM5. They come with a three-year warranty and have an MSRP of $119.90 for the 240 mm model, $139.90 for the 280 mm model, and $154.90 for the 360 mm model.
The Pure Loop 2 FX coolers offer excellent cooling performance, especially on AMD Ryzen systems. They also have a low noise output, thanks to the decoupled pump and the Light Wings fans. The ARGB lighting is well implemented and adds some flair to the system. However, some drawbacks are the lack of software control for the fans and lighting, and the relatively short warranty compared to some competitors.
