LG OLED ART 5 REINTERPRETED TIME In collaboration with Saatchi Gallery
LG, in collaboration with London’s world-renowned Saatchi Gallery, recently held the much-anticipated finale of the finale of the 2021 LG OLED ART project. Titled ‘Media Art: Reinterpreted Time’, the well-received exhibition featured digitally remastered works from some of the biggest names in contemporary art – given new life by the Royal College of Art. Also on display was a curated selection of thought-provoking pieces from a diverse group of up-and-coming artists.
Using LG’s self-lit OLED as a digital canvas, the artists offered a range of unique perspectives on the concept of time. A total of 20 LG OLED TVs were used in the exhibition, their immaculate picture quality blurring the line between the real and digital world and perfectly preserving the artists’ creative intentions.
